Construction cave!
March 23rd, 2009 Posted in generalThis would be what my house feels like at the moment!
The windows are mostly sorted except for a couple of minor glitches that’ll be sorted out on Saturday! Once they’re done the plastering is done the same day and we’re good to go! By myself and Snooze have already noticed the difference that proper category A double glazing will do. The house stays much warmer for much longer! Hopefully now she wont have to have the heating on for quite as long! 
Next up is the tiles. Sadly this means that all of the kitchen base units have to come out! This of course includes the cooker and the dishwasher. So, for the next while it’s takeaway, eat out or sandwiches. You wont see me complaining about that!
So, all being well the new kitchen should go in next week and the new fridge freezer will be delivered soon after! Then we just have to decorate the damned place! that’ll be fun……. NOT!
When it’s all finished I may even post some piccies!

I wish it was all done already, I can’t cope with the place being so untidy and worse is to come. My dad and brother are coming down tomorrow to take up all the tiles and wooden floors !! Ah, the mess ! I am assured it will all be worth it though.

The worst part sis is that because it’s all brand spanking new it will show up any dirt and you’ll end up cleaning it more than ever. Especially for the first few weeks after it’s all done as the dust that stays is awful.
I could always cook you up some dinners and you can heat them in your microwave ya know. No need for takeaways at all…….:)
